About Breath of Life Wellness

A practice built in Maui by the people who needed it.

Modern breathwork and Internal Family Systems, run by a small team of practitioners who came to this work the hard way.

Our story

How this started.

Breath of Life Wellness began the way most honest things do. Out of necessity.

Nick TNT got sober at 24, worked the steps, and at year four hit the wall most people don't talk about. He found breathwork, and discovered the piece his recovery had been missing. He went on to write a book modeled on the Big Book of AA, and build a practice on Maui rooted in conscious connected breath, twelve-step wisdom, and the body.

Paulina and Aundi came in with the IFS lens, the parts of us that suffer, protect, manage, and exile. Amanda Dykann brought two decades of yoga and spiritual coaching to every retreat. The team grew; the mission did not change.

To put a working tool in the hands of anyone who's been trying to feel better and quietly running out of ideas.

We don't do affirmations and bypass. We do the work that hurts a little, then keeps working.

Internal Family Systems

Paulina and Aundi, PAUNDI, are honored to share the insight and lived experience they have gained through their education and advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Both are currently pursuing their doctorate degrees in psychology and are Level 3 IFS trained.

Becoming IFS trained in the same year marked a meaningful alignment and the beginning of a shared path in this work. What began as parallel journeys naturally evolved into a shared mission to bring IFS into the world in a way that feels accessible, embodied, relatable, and fun.

What we stand for

Four lines we won't cross.

None of these are marketing. They're how we work, in every program, every session, every email.

01

Honesty over performance

No affirmations and bypass. The work that hurts a little, then keeps working.

02

The body, every time

Talk has its place. The body holds the rest. We always put the body in the room.

03

No one turned away

Donation-based weekly journeys. Scholarships on retreats. We mean it.

04

Community is the medicine

A practice you do alone won't hold. A practice held by a circle will.

Success stories

What changes, when it changes.

Three voices, three starting points. None of them planned to write a testimonial. They wrote anyway.

Initially I was skeptical about breathwork. I'd been suffering from anxiety, depression, self-harm and insomnia. Working with Nick reduced my anxiety and insomnia all together.

Anjali R., former patient

After two heart attacks and the pandemic, I spent two months on Maui. Nick was extraordinarily helpful. The daily practice changed my life.

Andrew Martin-Weber, former patient

The daily practice of breathwork has had, and still continues to have, a profound influence on my focus, mental outlook, and clarity.

About the practice

Common questions.

Are you a treatment center?

No. Breath of Life Wellness is a wellness practice, complementary to clinical treatment, not a substitute for it.

Do I need to be in recovery to work with you?

No. Many of our clients aren't. The work translates to anyone carrying anxiety, grief, or stuck patterns.

Are you licensed therapists?

No. We're certified breathwork practitioners and coaches. We work alongside therapists and refer out when clinical care is the right call.

Maui, Hawaiʻi. Most in-person work happens here. Online programs run worldwide.
